In the 1990s and early 2000s the Brintons' walking club raised money for charities, including Children in Need and Blakebrook Gymnastics club. Here are a selection of the badges for Christmas cracker walks that have previously taken place.

Eric Perks set the club up to raise money for the clinical investigations unit at Kidderminster hospital.

For every walk a new badge was created and the avid walkers sewed them onto their tracksuit tops as badges of honour.

Anyone who is interested in researching the clubs and activities that Brintons' employees used to be involved e.g. bowling clubs with are welcome to use the archive collection at the Museum of Carpet in Kidderminster.

Any enquiries can be sent to enquiries@museumofcarpet.org.uk.

The Museum of Carpet now holds a small collection of the badges that the walking club created for its members and they are available to view via the archive service.

Do you have any of these badges or different ones that you could share with the Museum of Carpet by posting a picture on Facebook?
