A KIDDERMINSTER thief has been ordered to pay hundreds of pounds after a shoplifting spree in the town.
Kevin Kilkenny, of Baxter Avenue, Kidderminster, stole a large amount of cheese, packs of meat and laundry products.
The 40-year-old, who was charged with six counts of theft, targeted Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Poundland and Nisa.
Most of the offences were carried out in June this year, with one theft taking place in March.
Kilkenny pleaded guilty to all the offences when he appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 6.
He was ordered to pay a total of £484. It includes compensation of £215, costs of £135, a £114 surcharge and a £20 fine.
A community order was also made, arrangements for drug rehabilitation, and he was ordered to participate in rehabilitation activity.
