A WORCESTERSHIRE singer has released her debut album which promises to deliver "a colourful cocktail of musical influences".
Chloe Mogg, from Stourport, said she has created a spacious journey that will take the listener through all the emotions of music.
Mogg is part of the West Midlands music scene - in journalism and creating music - and her debut album The Crazy One is a coming of age record all about growing pains and remembering your worth.
She said: "I’ve worked on this album for the past 6 years and I can’t believe it’s finally here.
"It features numerous different themes but has one continual one - identity.
"It’s about remembering who you are, where you come from and what you want at all times.
"To me, this album is a reminder to anyone that you are the main character in your story - do what’s best for you.”
The songwriter, who works at BBC Hereford and Worcester, has received praise for the two previous singles Heaven Sent You and Better Off from Planet Rock and New Noise Magazine.
Heaven Sent You even reached Number 1 on Banks Radio in Australia.
Turning relationship breakups, childhood stories and identity crises into something positive, the past decade of Mogg's life has accumulated into her debut album The Crazy One.
Armed with mental health themes, discrimination towards disabilities and heartbreak, the album has one theme throughout - growth.
Engineered and mastered with the help of Alex Vine Ruiz (Swan Studios), the release features Ali Clinton (Conflict Choir, Bernie Marsden from Whitesnake, Uli Jon Roth), Jack Bowles (Thomas Atlas), George Cook (Thomas Atlas), Chloe’s Dad Ian Mogg and Mirron Webb (RAIN).
An advocate in raising awareness for ‘invisible’ illnesses, Mogg was featured on BBC Radio 1’s Minute of Me and as a featured artist for BBC News online talking about discrimination to musicians with disabilities.
During the first lockdown in 2020, Chloe co-created The 7 Arts Still Exist, a platform where artists and musicians could share their talent online.
The event received praise from BBC Radio 1 and beyond. Recognising her work, Mogg received the Local Hero at the AIM Music Awards in 2021.
