Residents are invited to start the festivities early with the Kidderminster Christmas light switch-on event this weekend.
Kidderminster Town Council, in partnership with Kidderminster Town Hall and Kidderminster BID, has revealed a host of Christmas treats in store for the whole family on Saturday, November 18 from 4pm to 9pm.
There will be a range of entertainment in the town centre from local dance and music acts throughout the day to street food and face painting set to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
Kidderminster BID said: “This Christmas we partnered up with Kidderminster Town Hall and the Town Council to bring you the most dazzling Christmas lights possible.
“Join us and mark your calendars for November. Let’s ignite those Christmas vibes together.”
Kidderminster BID has also revealed a mouth-watering selection of local street food that will be available at the much-loved event for the first time, including Fat Eddies Smoke House, Calàbbria Pizza, Bigmouths, Old Toms Donuts, El Mehico, The Chester Tavern and The Peak Grinder.
It will be located at the 45 Live Venue from 4pm until 9pm.
The town council has also announced special guest appearances from the Jukebox Jems Duo and Gene Genie and The Lemon Squeezers.
