Don’t forget the magical riverside Christmas market is returning to Bewdley this weekend.
LSD Promotions is partnering up with Bewdley Town Council for the annual Christmas market and light switch-on event being held this Saturday (December 2).
The market will have stalls filled with gifts, stocking fillers, cakes and bespoke decorations as well as mulled wine and seasonal tipple to keep residents in the festive spirit before the lights are turned on at around 5.30pm.
A spokesperson for LSD Promotions said: “The perfect backdrop with a magical riverside setting, the switching-on of the town’s fabulous festive lights declares Christmas well and truly open.”
There will be a funfair in Load Street from 12pm until 6pm with live entertainment at The Big Red Bus.
There is also a special train running along the Severn Valley Railway from Kidderminster to Bewdley that departs at 4.30pm to arrive in time for the light switch-on.
The train is just £5 per person returning from Bewdley at 7.30pm.
Bewdley Town Council said: “This enchanting event promises to be a celebration of community and festive magic with the streets adorned with twinkling lights and the air filled with the scent of Christmas delights.
“Attendees can look forward to exploring a charming Christmas market brimming with an array of seasonal products, unique gifts and mouth-watering treats.”
The event is free and the market will be located along Severn Side North and Severn Side South.
