A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a horror crash that killed two women and a six-year-old boy.
Joe-Lewis Tyler, aged 33, of Grenville Road in Worcester, has been charged with three counts of death by dangerous driving, one count of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, three counts of causing death whilst uninsured and one count of taking a motor vehicle without the owner's consent.
The charges are in relation to a collision on the A44 in Spetchley, Worcestershire on Thursday, February 22, where three people died.
The crash happened at around 3pm when a grey BMW 3 series collided with a white Ford Mondeo.
Claire Adkins, aged 39, and Courtney Hemming, aged 26, both from Worcester, died at the scene when the white Ford Mondeo, which they were travelling in, was in collision with a grey BMW 3 series.
Six-year-old Leo Painter, also in the Mondeo, was rushed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital but died a short time later.
Joe-Lewis Tyler has been remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday, March 16).
