The following cases were heard at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court last week. 

ASHLEY LYE, of The Foxholes, Kidderminster, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle when above the alcohol limit on March 10 in Pershore. 

Lye was caught driving a Skoda Octavia Scout after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath exceeded the prescribed limit. 

He had 62 micrograms of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. 

Lye also pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified and using a motor vehicle without third-party insurance. 

Lye was given a suspended sentence and ordered to comply with drug rehabilitation activities. He has also been disqualified from driving. 

LEVI STEWART, of Lea Castle Close, Kidderminster, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen or specimens of breath for analysis to check if he had committed a driving offence. 

He has been remanded on conditional bail ahead of the next hearing in the magistrates' court on July 11. 

JASON WILKINS, of Batchley Road, Redditch, pleaded guilty to sending an offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message or matter contrary to the Communications Act 2003 on July 13, 2023 in Redditch.

Wilkins has been given a suspended sentence and ordered to participate in rehabilitation activities.

He has also been handed a restraining order and is prohibited from contacting the victim, going to their home address or workplace until March 10, 2026. 

He has to pay £135 in costs to the CPS and a £154 surcharge. 

DANNY TODD, of Hoveton Close, Redditch, indicated a guilty plea to sending a letter, communication or article conveying a threatening message between October 7, 2023, and October 10, 2023. 

Todd was accused of sending a message that conveyed a threat intended to cause distress or anxiety. 

He was sentenced to a community order until March 10, 2025, including 100 hours of unpaid work. 

His plea was taken into account and he was ordered to pay £50 in compensation as well as other court costs and was also handed a restraining order which lasts until March 10, 2025. 

STEPHEN TANDY, of Northwood Lane, Bewdley, indicated a guilty plea to criminal damage to a property to a value over £5000.

Tandy was accused of damaging a VW Van on November 16, 2023, in Bewley without lawful excuse. The damage was to the value of £6,344.89. 

He also pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. 

He also indicated a guilty plea to possessing a knife blade or sharp pointed article, namely an axe, in a public place on Northwood Lane. 

He was been committed to Crown Court for sentencing on conditional bail with the next hearing scheduled for April 12. 

ALEX DUNKLEY, of Broad Street, Kidderminster, pleaded guilty to sending an offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message or matter contrary to the Communications Act 2003 on November 11, 2023.

He also pleaded guilty to causing the use of a motor vehicle with no insurance. 

Dunkley was accused of using a Landrover Freelander on Rainsford Crescent when there was no policy of insurance or third-party security for doing so. 

He has been remanded on conditional bail until the next hearing in the Magistrates' Court on August 6. 

MIGUEL SAUNDERS, of Viaduct Close, Kidderminster, pleaded guilty to assault by beating on August 17, 2023 at Kidderminster Train Station. 

Saunders was given a community order until March 10, 2025, including 80 hours of unpaid work as well as being ordered to pay £50 in costs to the CPS, £114 in surcharge and £300 in compensation.
