A business in Kidderminster has been left "thrilled" after a reality star chose them to renovate parts of her home.

Purple Granite, which has been operating since 2010, was approached by a Made in Chelsea star, Caggie Dunlop, to design and fit her new kitchen and bathroom worktops.

Caggie first reached out to the team on Instagram in April last year after being impressed with their work and the company soon started to make her vision a reality.

Owner of Purple Granite, Jon Brewer, said: "We were absolutely thrilled and delighted that Caggie chose Purple to provide her bathroom and kitchen worktops.

"We are committed to delivering exceptional quality and service and we couldn't wait to bring Caggie's vision to life.

"By choosing us, she placed her trust in our expertise and craftsmanship."

Purple Granite has two showrooms in the area with one being located on Stourport Road in Kidderminster and the other being based in Worcester.

The business aims to supply and fit quality stone workshops with the team consulting closely with Caggie to meet her design preferences and work around the timescale for her home renovation.

Caggie handpicked her favourite marble slabs for each room selecting the Calacatta Cohen Gold marble for the kitchen, which has gold and grey tones, and Calacatta rose marble for the bathroom.

Mr Brewer added: "We were excited to work closely with Caggie to create beautiful, functional and long-lasting worktops that will perfectly complement her bathroom and kitchen spaces.

"The end result was a stunning kitchen and bathroom that not only met but exceeded Caggie's expectations, leaving her delighted with the final outcome. We were grateful for the opportunity to bring her vision to life."

The company also praised Caggie's enthusiasm and creativity throughout the process which made the project an even more enjoyable experience.
