The event has been organised by Wyre Forest District Council and UNITY, the employment services team at Community Housing..

The community charities, groups, and other organisations depend on volunteers and will be promoting various roles they currently have available.

Attendees will also be able to discover how they can acquire a digital skills qualification.

The roles range from befriending to supporting the Burlish Bike Park coffee shop, conservation work and driving.

Councillor Tracey Onslow, the council’s cabinet member for culture, leisure, arts, and community safety, said: "Volunteering is a great way to meet new people whilst giving back to the local community.

"Whether volunteers are helping out a few hours a week or once a month, we are grateful for their time and hard work.

"We hope residents will find the Volunteer Fair informative and inspiring.

"There are a wide range of opportunities that anyone can get involved with to start making a difference."
