Franche Community Primary School pupil Emma Bendall has researched and written an article reminding young people and their families about what steps they can take while on holiday to protect wildlife.

Emma, aged 10, is an active member of the Wyre Forest Worcestershire Wildlife Watch group - the junior branch of the Wildlife Trusts organisation.

She is working towards the prestigious Gold Award and put together the article for the Newshound section. She has been thinking about her family holiday and how, with just a little effort, we can all ensure the safety of the animals, birds and flora around us. Her article includes tips on safe rock-pooling and how to dispose of litter, as well as a range of other useful advice.
