THERE will be road closures in Kidderminster this Sunday as the local Boys Brigade will have their battalion parade through the town centre.
The parade will commence from the New Road car park at 2.40pm, making it’s way to a service at the Town Hall at 3pm.
At the conclusion of the service at 4pm, the parade will make it’s way through the town centre again for the second part of the procession concluding back at the New Road car park at about 4.20pm.
A temporary road closure authority has been authorised for this parade by Wyre Forest District Council between 2.40pm and 4.20pm, covering the following roads: Corporation St, Exchange St, Oxford St, Vicar St, High St, Worcester St, Marlborough St and New Road.
PC Clive Llewellyn said: “The roads will be closed on a rolling basis so as to cause minimum disruption to road users.
“However we would advise motorists to avoid using the above roads during the parade times if at all possible to minimise any potential delays to their travel arrangements.”
