A TEENAGE cyclist was treated after colliding with a lamp post this morning, metres from where a seperate car crash had just happened.
Emergency calls were received to reports of a cyclist in collision with a lamp post near to the junction of Trimpley Drive and Habberley Road in Kidderminster.
A boy believed to be around 14 years old was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
At about the same time, an 11-year-old boy suffered serious leg injuries after being involved in a collision with a car.
The incident happened at about 8.15am on the Habberley Road between the junctions of Manor Avenue and Trimpley Drive.
The 11-year-old, a pedestrian, was treated at the scene and his condition was stabilised. He was airlifted to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for further emergency treatment.
