POLICE are appealing for information after thousands of pounds worth of electrical cable was snatched from Wolverley.
The theft of the drum of cable happened at a roadworks compound in Franche Road some time between 4.30pm last Thursday and 8am the following morning.
PC Sally Silwinska said the drum, containing around 250 metres of cable, weighed around a tonne. It is believed it was rolled between 15 to 20 metres along the road and loaded on to a flatbed truck or similar vehicle.
