HUNDREDS of runners will be competing in the annual Shuttle Races in Stourport this weekend.
They will start and finish at Stourport Sports Club at Kingsway on Sunday and proceeds from the day will go to Kemp Hospice.
The event, organised by Kidderminster & Stourport Athletic Club, is in its 10th year and a walk will feature for the first time alongside the traditional 10km run and 3.5km fun run.
The 10km race – which also includes the county championship – gets under way at 11am. The fun run starts 10 minutes earlier and the new three-mile walk begins at 10.30am.
The 10km race is open to anyone over the age of 15. The fun run is open to all ages but under-10s need to be accompanied by an adult.
Entries will be accepted on the day when fees are £10 for the 10k and £5 for the fun run and walk.
