A BLAKEDOWN man appeared in court accused of making false claims for tvs after burglaries at his home.

Anthony Gauntlett, 39, of Wannerton Road, pleaded not guilty at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today, to two charges of fraud by misrepresentation.

He is accused of making claims to Direct Line Insurance for Bang & Olufsen tvs and other equipment he said were stolen in August 2008 and 2010.

Gauntlett was bailed to return to the same court for commital proceedings on May 14.
