A MATURE male Springer Spaniel has been found straying in Abberley after being clipped by a car.

He was found wandering in the road last night at about 11pm.

The frightened and distressed dog was taken home by a good samaritan after enquiries had been made in a local hotel about who owned him.

He is now being cared for by the RSPCA who have named him Jude and are keen to reunite him with his owner.

He was not microchipped and although he was wearing a flee collar it had no name tag attached. Anyone with information can call the RSPCA on 0300 123 0753.
