BEWDLEY sailor Alison Young put the pressure on her medal rivals with two strong performances in rounds three and four of the Laser Radial in Weymouth and Portland today.
The 25-year-old Trimpley Sailing Club member finished the day ranked fourth in the standings after her best day in the Olympic competition yet.
Two second places in wet and windy conditions catapuled Young from ninth to fourth.
She will be aiming to build on her improving form in round rounds five (noon) and six (1.15pm) tomorrow.
