THE founder of children’s entertainment company Mind Candy has received an honorary degree from the University of Birmingham.
Michael Acton Smith was made Doctor of the University. His company is the driving force behind children’s online game Moshi Monsters, which has more than 75 million users around the world.
It has expanded offline into toys, a kids’ magazine, a DS video game, a top five music album, books, membership cards and trading cards.
