WEST Midlands MEP Malcolm Harbour, has backed the recently-launched Business Manifesto for European Reform.
It calls for the completion of the Single Market and reform of the UK’s relationship with the EU under the banner “Our Biggest Market”.
Conservative Mr Harbour said: “I am delighted to support this manifesto, as it strongly endorses my work as chairman of the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee in the European Parliament.
“Completing the Single Market, our biggest market, especially in the digital, transport, energy and telecoms areas, and promoting Free Trade agreements with the USA and Japan are key parts of the manifesto.
“I also wholeheartedly agree with the proposals to cut regulatory burdens for business and streamline EU policy making. We want an EU that does less but does it better.”
