WHY can't local road users use The Gilgal in Stourport properly? The road system allows for drivers to filter and join the lane they require. However most drivers seem to think it is a give way' system and create constant hold-ups instead of making progress by filtering.
Is it a lack of confidence in their driving skills or do they just not know how to use the system?
Most of the horrendous hold-ups would be prevented if drivers filtered - ie carried on moving and joined the required lane when safe to do so. Instead they wait and wait and wait!
Maybe the highways agency or council need to erect signs.
