I sympathise with Mrs Benson over her unfair parking fine from the recent letter, "Penalised for my honesty over ticket".
I too was issued with a parking ticket in Bewdley. It was in the run-up to Christmas and with a lot on my mind, I mistakenly bought my ticket from the adjacent car park at Load Street car park, not realising my mistake I displayed my ticket from the wrong machine.
On returning to my car, the vehicle enforcement officer had just placed a ticket on my car, knowing full well the mistake I had made.
My appeal was also turned down, mitigating circumstances are not considered at the appeal office it seems.
My guess is that it was the same enforcement officer who issued the tickets in Bewdley.
