A question for the planners. Now that all this new building work has taken place, has any consideration been given to the movement of traffic?
Let’s look at two of the main sites.
Firstly, the old sugarbeet works, “A relief road onto the Worcester Road”.
The Worcester Road already has a problem at peak times, as does the Stourport Road.
Also consider the problem for anyone in a vehicle of any kind trying to exit the new development onto the Stourport Road, who wants to turn right to go into Kidderminster?
No apparent provision has been made for this. Secondly, the homes built opposite Lisle Avenue.
Has any allowance been made for parking? If not, it looks like it will be pavement parking, causing restrictions to traffic. It’s all a case of traffic volume, when the pint pot is full, it’s full.
I feel sorry for anyone who has to travel on these roads to work, when all homes and businesses are up and running.
