On the evening of March 24, I was involved in a hit and run on Sutton Road which involved a white Ford Transit van.
As I pulled in to observe the damage that was caused, the driver of the vehicle quickly sped away without even stopping to see what had happened.
Luckily, I was uninjured, just shocked. £800.00 worth of damage was caused, which I am going to have to pay out of my own pocket even though it wasn’t my fault.

I’m just grateful it happened to someone like me, instead of someone elderly who could of quite easily had a heart attack at the wheel and it would have been more serious.
