Congratulations to those at Wyre Forest Council who managed to make a complete shambles out of encouraging people to use their vote by reducing the number of polling stations and forcing me, along with many others, to try to vote at a skeleton-crewed Trinity Methodist Church.
Never before have I seen so much chaos outside a polling station let alone what was happening inside.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get that far to see as on three separate occasions from 4pm and even at 9.45pm the queue stretched far out into the street with a projected wait of 75 minutes.
As the sun rose on another Conservative term and Ed Miliband slunk slowly away into the shadows, there were no doubt disappointed Broadwaters voters were walking the streets in search of the social event at that infamous brewery that WFC couldn’t organise either.
