The plans to regenerate Kidderminster town centre are in place and people welcome the investment, the shops and the enhancement to come.

The demolition of Crown House will be a blessed relief.

A new contract for a market will be addressed in the very near future.

The council is putting out questionnaires on what local people want from a “new market”, probably based only in Kidderminster streets rather than inside a building.

I delivered questionnaires to our library and shall be very interested in the response back to the council.

We want quality stalls selling quality products.

Kidderminster should be known as a great centre for markets and retail shops, as well as a tourist destination.

I am a member of the council’s panel looking at this issue.

All contributions to the survey will be welcome.
