From the Chancellor’s Economic Statement of Nov 23, I would have expected an announcement to put more money into our Local Enterprise Board – the Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEB.
However, there is little or nothing for Wyre Forest regarding provision for extra housing and investment into jobs and economic progress to raise our very low average wages, £19,000.
Labour sees these issues as priorities.
Over 2,000 households are on the waiting list for a new home. We expected more help for Wyre Forest.
