A KIDDERMINSTER Olympic swimmer has shown her support for Kemp Hospice's Swimathon.
Amy Smith, who competed at London 2012 in the 50m and 100m freestyle swimming events, visited the Feel Good Health Club to encourage swimmers to get in the pool.
The Swimathon will take place over 12 hours at the Mercure Hotel in Bewdley on Sunday.
Participants will be able to swim for as much or as little as they like with swimming slots of five, 10, 15, 30 minutes or a full hour available to raise vital funds for Kemp Hospice.
Ms Smith said: "Swimming is a great sport to be involved in and is a good way of keeping fit. It’s wonderful that the Swimathon allows people to enjoy the sport as well as raise money for a great cause."
Sophie Bishop, fundraiser at Kemp Hospice, said: “We are really proud and pleased that Amy is supporting our Swimathon, we still have places available for anyone wanting to take part, so why not make a splash for the hospice."
To register visit kemphospice.org.uk or if you would like to swim as a group call Sophie Bishop on 01562 756066.
