FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a fire on the embankment next to Severn Valley Railway this afternoon.
A crew from Kidderminster was called out to the fire in Kent Close at around 2.50pm.
The crew extinguished 300 square metres of railway embankment.
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "One extended hose reel, two back packs and beaters were used to extinguish the fire."
