IT is one of the most anticipated superhero films ever and yesterday the world got a glimpse of the upcoming flick Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The trailer was unveiled at Comic-Con and, following the explosive Star Wars Episode VII reveal just yesterday, director Zack Snyder definitely had his work cut out for him.

Yet he definitely managed to step up to the mark with this tantalising teaser showcasing the ultimate battle of superheroes, leaving fans unable to contain their excitement.

X Factor auditions due to take place on Tuesday have been postponed due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

Simon Cowell’s mother Julie died last Sunday, and it has been reported that her funeral will take place on Tuesday.

A spokesman for the show declined to comment on the reason for the change and said auditions had been postponed due to “unforeseen circumstances”, but would resume as usual on Wednesday.

The stars of Game of Thrones sat on a panel to answer questions about the show at Comic-Con International.

There were lots of questions about the Season 5 finale and the future of Jon Snow at the event in San Diego, California, on Friday.

But as the video shows, the cast remained pretty tight-lipped and insisted they are in the same boat as the viewers and know as little as us.

Game Of Thrones star Lena Headey is having a change of scenery from the bloodthirsty fantasy drama for a more innocent tale – playing a US secret agent in the new version of classic kids’ cartoon Danger Mouse.

The actress, who plays the scheming Cersei Lannister in the hit show, will voice the character of Jeopardy Mouse in the cartoon.

She said: “I wanted to do it because it was pure nostalgia for me. I have children now and it’s just a treat to be involved in something that you loved as a kid and be able to share it.

Plane crash survivor Harrison Ford returned to the public stage alongside fellow Star Wars veterans Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill, joining younger cast members of the new film to bring the force to Comic-Con.

Legions of fans had slept outside the convention centre in San Diego for days before the much anticipated convention appearance and were rewarded with a behind-the-scenes look at the making of The Force Awakens, as well as a surprise outside concert attended by the cast bearing lightsabers.

The panel was Harrison Ford’s first public appearance since crashing his small plane earlier this year and he received a standing ovation from fans as he walked on to the stage.
