KIDDERMINSTER fire station is opening their doors to families for a day of safety information and fun.
The open will take place on June 16 at the station from 12pm to 4pm and will offer the Wyre Forest community advice on fire safety in the home.
The event will feature a range of displays including a chip pan demo, young firefighter drills and other demonstrations by the Severn Area Rescue and Fire service.
Visitors can also request a home fire safety test for their homes on the day.
Youngsters can enjoy fire engine rides, a bouncy castle, ice cream van and sweet shop on the day.
The police and local charities will also be attending the event.
Kidderminster Fire Station Crew Commander Robert Shaw said: "We are excited to be hosting what could be the last fire station open day before we move to the new Wyre Forest Fire Station in Stourport Road next year.
"We are also looking for people that live or work within five minutes of the new fire station to join our team of on call firefighters, so if you’re interested come on down and find out more.
"There will be something for everyone and I’m sure it will be a great day."
