KEMP Hospice is running its third Make a Will Week in partnership with eight local solicitors firms.
The firms will encourage their employees to give their free time, from Monday to next Friday, to updating and writing wills for people in return for a donation to Kemp Hospice.
The Government will match 25 per cent of every gift-aided donation.
The event raised more £6,500 last year, with over 50 people making their will.
The current participating firms include Amba Legal Services, DWT Legal, Marion Evans Solicitors, Norris and Miles Solicitors, Painters Solicitors, QualitySolicitors Lumsdons, QualitySolicitors Talbots and Thursfields Solicitors.
Solicitors can be contacted during the week to make an appointment but they can also be made at a convenient time outside of the week.
