The Art Society meets on Thursdays at 7.15pm at Trimpley Village Hall, DY12 1NZ. When you turn left off Trimpley Lane into Trimpley Village, take the next right turn down a narrow lane and Trimpley Village Hall is on the left. The directions on Google maps are not correct.
The Society has a full programme including worknights, outdoor painting sessions, social events and visits to galleries. Each month there will be a talk or demonstration and at the end of the month there is an appraisal of members’ work, assessed by members or a visiting artists. Within the society alongside less experienced painters, are members who belong to the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, RBSA,The Pastel Society, PS, and the Birmingham Watercolour Society, BWS . Our guest speakers and demonstrators are working artists. Each year there are two Saturday workshops for members and an exhibition. 2010 is the 80th year of the society.
