Blakedown Cub Scouts, in support of the Royal British Legion, paraded to St James the Great Church in Blakedown on a damp, cold November morning. Flag Bearer, Morgan F (Senior Sixer), performed his duties to an excellent standard. Morgan was well supported by his Flag Seconds James W, Jack T, and Joseph IH. A special thank you goes out to all the parents who supported the Cubs during the parade, especially to Paul and Andrew who took on special traffic duties at the last minute before the parade. Leaders Chil and Akela praise the Cubs for their excellent behaviour during the 2 minutes silence and church service. Blakedown Cubs appreciate being given the opportunity to be part of this year’s parade and service and look forward to being involved again in future years.
