Man charged with wounding in Bewdley

A MAN was charged yesterday in connection with a serious assault in Bewdley which led to another man being taken to hospital.

The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday, January 13, when a man was discovered with a head injury near the Texaco Service Station in Kidderminster Road and an ambulance was called to the scene.

A 20-year-old Bewdley man who was arrested shortly after the incident has been charged with wounding.

He has been released on police bail to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Thursday, February 28.
