FIRE chiefs have warned people not to leave their cooking unattended after crews were called to a fire in Bewdley.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bewdley and Kidderminster were called to a property in Wyre Hill at 7.58pm last night (Thursday, January 8) where a small fire had broken out on a stove.
The cause of the fire was a pan that had been left unattended, but when the service arrived the fire had already been extinguished.
Earlier this morning, the fire service tweeted “never leave cooking unattended” following the incident in Bewdley.
