A 12-year-old boy had to be taken to hospital after being hit by a car outside Hagley Catholic High School yesterday morning (Wednesday, May 3).
Emergency services were called to the scene in Brake Lane just after 8.30am to reports of a collision outside the school involving a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 12-year-old boy, was treated for foot injuries and chest pain by West Midlands Ambulance Service, with an ambulance service spokesman saying the injuries are not thought to be serious.
After being treated at the scene, the boy was then taken to Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley by ambulance.
A West Mercia Police spokeswoman added: βIt was not a hit and run and the incident is not being treated as suspicious.β
