On Wednesday January 14 Melvyn Thompson will talk to the society on historical aspects of Kidderminster’s carpet industry which he will illustrate by showing films from the Museum’s extensive archive. The meeting following will be on Wednesday January 28 when the society’s president, the eminent archaeologist Simon Buteux, will give his annual lecture.
Meetings of the society start at 7.30pm and are held in St George’s Annexe adjacent to St George’s Church, Radford Avenue. There is a small charge for visitors. More information about the society can be found on www.kidderhistsoc.
