KIDDERMINSTER SOROPTIMISTS: The recent afternoon tea with Henry Sandon (of the Antiques Roadshow Team) proved to be a great success raising around £500 in aid of Worcestershire Young Carers. Henry had brought several items especially from his own collection of teapots, and then entertained us with some wonderful anecdotes from his years in the Antiques Roadshow, which as he reminding us that it had also been held in Kidderminster in 1994.
The November Business Meeting will be as usual at 7.30pm on November 3, at Baxter Church Rooms, Bullring, Kidderminster.
The next meeting is the monthly Supper Meeting on November 17 7pm at La Brasserie, Kidderminster, when continuing our current series of talks “Why am I ...” Carol Strongman, a former member of our club will enlighten us on: “Why am I a family barrister”.
Visitors are always welcome to the club meetings on first and third Thursday each month.
