PEOPLE in Kinver are warned to be vigilant after a cash skimming device was found on a village cash machine.

The device was found on the Barclays Bank cash point in the High Street by a man who went to make a withdrawal at 7.10am on Friday November 22.

He noticed a black strip on the cash point, which came off in his hand, and he became concerned about the activities of two youths wearing black hoodies who were hanging about drinking energy drinks by the village clock.

The black strip device has since been seized by officers and enquiries about the incident are continuing.

Police are urging witnesses or anyone with information to contact them by calling Staffordshire Police on 101, and speak to Pc 4907 Andy Clifford at Wombourne Police Station.
