WALKERS put their best feet forward in a sponsored stroll from Bewdley.
They took part in the Severn Way Walk - a 225-mile walk which covered the Severn Way - that went from Bewdley to Worcester on Saturday, September 15.
The walkers set off from the town’s boat club to music by the Bewdley Concert Band.
Teams from the Special Olympics - a sports organisation for children and adults with disabilities - Explorer Scouts and Bewdley Youth Cafe joined the walk, organised by Bewdley and Stourport Rotary clubs.
Meanwhile, Brian Young, of the Stourport organisation, who was hoping to walk the full 225 miles had to give-up after four days due to blisters on his feet.
He said: “I would ask all my supporters(sponsors) to allow me to retain the sponsorship money to help our charities.”
