‘101 children – experiences of a foster carer’ will be the topic for the speaker at the meeting on Monday, September 9 at 7.30pm.
The competition is for an original poem beginning ‘There was an old lady who lived in a shoe...’ All members are invited to join in!
There will, of course, also be the usual book stall and raffle.
Singing for Pleasure is continuing, and the Emma Bridgwater outing will be on Monday, September 30.
Members are reminded that the annual council meeting will be on October 30, and the Christmas shopping trip to Chatsworth has been arranged for November 18.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at Wolverley Memorial Hall at 7.30pm. All are welcome.
