The Duchess of Sussex has again shown her love of British designers with an “elegant and regal” outfit at the Buckingham Palace garden party.
Meghan chose a dress by luxury British label Goat for the engagement, her first since the wedding.
The blush £590 dress in dusky pink is described on the Goat website as having a “contrast silk-chiffon decolletage and sleeves with delicate frayed edge trim on the neckline and cuffs”.
Meghan completed her look with a saucer-style hat by Philip Treacy, an Irish designer based in London and a favourite among the royals.
Fashion designer Aruna Seth said: “I think it’s very elegant, fitting and really defining her royal status.
“She’s keeping within the royal protocol, it’s over the knees and a very nice, elegant cut.
“I think she’s super refined today and really took that extra step to show us she is going to wow us with her dress sense but within the protocol.”
She added: “She has chosen a British designer again and that is so nice and what Princess Diana always did and support the British designer brand.”
