BROADWELL and Donnington villages are gearing up for their annual fete which offers a fun afternoon for families.
The traditional fete offering pony rides, a dog show, duck races, games, races and activities, takes place on Saturday June 11 between 12 noon and 4pm.
Refreshments and hot and cold food will be available.
An art exhibition will be taking place in the village hall and there are competition classes in the church, including royal themed scarecrows and paintings and portraits of the Queen.
Jake the Entertainer will keep the children busy with fun circus skills workshops and plenty of magic.
The afternoon closes with our traditional egg throwing competition and the tug o’ war.
