GOLF: Kidderminster Golf Club’s A team earned a hard-fought home victory over table-toppers Worcestershire GC, at home which keeps their title hopes alive with two games remaining.
The Men’s Open Autumn Pairs saw 168 golfers take part in the latest open event.
The course was in superb condition for what turned out to be a great days golfing.
Results: 1, Luke Rogers and James Toman 45 points; 2, Michael Dyer and Steve Beddoes 43; 3, Nigel Blay and Charles Tilling 43; 4, Stephen Kidd and Noel Evans 42; 5, Ian Giddins and Kevin Giddins 42; 6, Alan Dimmock and Stephen Adams 42.
Final Medal — Division One: David Taylor; Division Two: Kevin Woodham; Division Three: Nigel Blay.
Sunday Stableford: 1, James Cobley 37 points; 2, Stephen Carter 37; 3, Simon Parkes 35.
