STOURPORT Ladies recorded a 0-0 draw against fellow Investec Women’s Conference West side Oxford Hawks.

Both teams will have come away from this encounter dis - appointed with not getting all three points, after a gruelling match of end-to-end play.

Oxford started strongly and after a period of pressure, received a goalscoring oppor - tunity with a penalty corner, but the well-placed shot was fired straight into the arms of, Stourport ‘keeper Sophie Wood.

Jack Lambert was in good form at in Wrexham for Kidderminster and Stourport The home side were then presented with a second goal - scoring opportunity, midway through the first half when a shot at goal was mistakenly deflected over the bar, much to Stourport’s relief.

In Worcestershire Division Two, the Fourths came away with not only the bragging rights but the three points as well after defeating Kidderminster 3-0.

Coached by Will Terry, the ladies put in a good attacking performance and picked up their second clean sheet in a row in a well-deserved win.

Elsewhere, Stourport Fifths went down 2-0 to Droitwich.

Meanwhile, the Sixths had a 0-0 draw against Droitwich Seconds at home.
