POCKETS E just need one more point to secure the Kidderminster Monday Snooker League Premier Division title after a brilliant demolition of their A side team-mates.
Taylor Fish handed them a strong start when he won 92-54 with a break of 35, before Wayne Dobson triumphed 75-46 with a 32 break.
Captain John Betton clinched the third frame 74-43 and the final singles was won by Andy Smith 90-42.
In the doubles, Fish and Smith were 96-49 victors.
Second-placed Pockets B had a disaster against St John's D when they lost 4-1.
Ash Ward won both his matches, while Rich Pepperall lost both his despite knocking in a good break of 38.
St John's D move out of the relegation zone and leave last year’s champions in the danger zone.
In Division One, Pockets D opened up a six-point gap after beating Pockets C, despite the efforts of Arek Ziemkiewicz who won both his frames.
St Johns E had a good win against St Johns C to move clear in second place.
St Georges were well-beaten by Legion 4-1 with Jon Carter and Chris Hunt winning two frames each. Chester Road versus Workmans B was postponed.
