KIDDERMINSTER Thirds lost by seven wickets at Himley in Worcestershire League Division Four last Saturday.

They posted 163-9 off their allotted 40 overs, with Harry Dickens top-scoring on 49.

Himley’s Dom Taylor (107) provided the base for the hosts to win in the 34th over.

In Division Three, Kidderminster fourths lost by three wickets at home to Kempsey Seconds.

Kidderminster batted first and scored 205-8 with Adam Dickens top-scoring with 73.

The visitors reached their target off the last ball, ending on 206-6, with Mark Tucker (53) leading the chase and Josh Tidmarsh taking 2-24.

Meanwhile in Division Seven, Kidderminster Fifths lost by 68 runs to Bewdley thirds.

Ian Sadler took 4-33 as Bewdley compiled 153-8 off their 45 overs, but Kidderminster were dismissed for 85 runs in the 34th over.

l In Division Two, Chaddesley Corbett got the better of Enville by seven wickets.

Waqur Ahmad took 5-40 as Enville were dismissed for 150, despite half-centuries for Spencer Mann (55) and Jonathan Howells (50).

In reply, Corbett made 154-3 in 30 overs, with opening batsmen Ibrahim Jiva (73 not out) and Asif Iqbal (46) among the runs.

Second-placed Chaddesley Corbett are at home to Bredon in the league on Saturday (1pm start).
