CLEOBURY Mortimer held their Ladies Club Championship, which was won by Juliet Dugdale.
The 27-hole competition, saw reasonably kind weather for the ladies with only a few brief showers.
Fifteen competitors and the general consensus afterwards was the tournament was an enjoyable success.
The winner of the nett prize with a score of 111 was Dugdale, whose handicap was cut by one shot as a result.
Wendy Duncan was runner-up on countback with nett 116.
The winner of the gross prize with a scored of 138 was Nina Foord, this year’s lady captain.
Julie Currie was runner-up with gross 139.
Foord said: “The recent rain had softened the course and as a result the greens seemed more receptive.
“I’d like to thank Robert and his green staff for the condition of the course following what had been yet another challenging few days.”
l Rosanna Halls, 12, claimed the title of England’s most improved girl golfer after she sped away to a five-shot win in the Abraham Trophy final.
Rosanna, from Gaudet Luce in Worcestershire shot eight-under net 64 on the Signature course at The Nottinghamshire Golf and Country Club.
