CHADDESLEY Corbett had to settle for a losing draw at home to Barestree and Lugwardine in Worcestershire League Division Four.
Lugwardine opted to bat first having won the toss and were bowled out for 198.
Muhammad Sadiq (4-77), Chris Mole (2-63) and David Perry (3-18) were the wicket-takers for Corbett.
Mohammed Ramzan top-scored with 70, while Matthew Yardley (38no) also made a good contribution but Chaddesley were kept 166-7.
Corbett go to Kidderminster on Saturday (1.30pm start).
n Third-placed Cleobury Mortimer suffered a five-wicket loss at the hands of Halesowen.
After winning the toss and opting to bat, Mortimer were bowled out for 184 in 38 overs. David Leach (63) and Ben Griffiths (47) got among the runs, while Adam Hawker took five wickets for Halesowen.
James Manley took three wickets but Mortimer’s opponents replied with 189-5 in 33 overs.
Mortimer enterain Bromsgrove at home on Saturday.
- Cutnall Green beat Harborne by five wicket in Division Six.
Three wickets each for Matthew Harris and Harif Saleem and two for Kevin Shuck dismissed the Birmingham side for 108 in 34 overs.
Derek Higgins (21) and Scott Shuck (32) top-scored as Green replied with 110-5 in 29 overs.
Second in the table Green entertain relegation-battling Coombs Wood on Saturday.
