FOOTBALL: Teams representing Kidderminster and Stourport will honour the memory of local footballer Billy Rice with their annual fundraising match at Stourport Swifts on Saturday (3pm k/o).
Billy Rice died of cancer in 2003 and his wife Donna and his closest friends got together and arranged an over-40s football match in his memory, which raises cash for Cancer Research.
Anyone who wants to play will pay £5, with the proceeds going to charity. Call Shaun Perry 07801 734254, or Mark Prescott 07825 066514, to register. Entry is £3 for spectators and organisers will be running a raffle.
